EAS does not provide storage for faculty research machines. It is up to the individual research group to consult with EAS Computing to determine its needs. EAS Computing can build custom storage units, or work with you and a vendor to get the correct equipment in place. We have expertise in JBOD, RAID, and SAN technologies, and have 3/4 Petabyte in storage under administration.
In order to facilitate emergency situations and routine maintenance of large storage arrays, EAS does make available a 70 Terabyte array. Access to the array is via 1 or 10Gb Ethernet.
